Repeat Prescriptions

Nice_blue_pillsRepeat prescriptions must be requested on the pre-printed form attached to your last prescription or online ( need to register)

If you nominate a pharmacy to dispense your prescription it can be sent electronically to them to save you a trip to the surgery.

Alternatively please hand this to the receptionist or send it by post. A stamped addressed envelope can be attached if you would like us to post your new prescription to you. The new prescription will be ready to collect or post within 2 working days of receipt.

We do not accept prescription requests by phone, fax or handwritten letter. Some local chemists organise the collection and delivery of repeat prescriptions, please contact them for details.

It is useful to take your repeat prescription form to all hospital outpatient appointments.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication.

For details about the Brent wide campaign on how we can all help reduce waste when requesting and prescribing repeat medications please follow this link or go to the section "Repeat Prescribing"
