Shingles Vaccine

All people aged 70, 78 or 79  are entitled to receive a vaccination against shingles.

This is part of the new national shingles immunisation programme introduced by the Department of Health to help protect those most at risk from shingles and its complications.

Other age groups wil be introduced in future years to ensure all people aged 70 to 79 are offered vaccination against shingles.
